New: SureFood® GMO ID HB4 Wheat
Congen introduces a new GMO ID real-time PCR kit for the detection of specific genetically modified HB4 Wheat DNA (Art. No. S2036). HB4 wheat (OECD unique identifier IND-ØØ412-7) harbors an additionally inserted gene from the sunflower (HaHB4) encoding a drought tolerance. The plant can better cope with dry periods. As of September 2025, HB4 wheat is not approved as a genetically modified organism in the European Union. SureFood® GMO ID HB4 Wheat (Art. No. S2036).
